"The Americans," FX's new 1980s-set spy drama starring Keri Russell, will debut in January.
Beginning January 30, "The Americans" will join the FX lineup in the Wednesday 10 p.m. EST timeslot, which is currently occupied by "American Horror Story: Asylum."
"The Americans" follows two married KGB spies posing as Americans in the suburbs of Washington, DC. Matthew Rhys and Russell star as Philip and Elizabeth Jennings, the married spies and parents of two. Things get more complicated when Stan Beeman (Noah Emmerich), an FBI agent, moves in next door. Joe Weisberg created the series and will executive produce the drama alongside Joel Fields and Graham Yost.
