Deal A Deal Sites For Moms, Babies, Kids & Overall Family Savings ...

This list was originally posted way back in 2009. There have been a lot of new sites pop-up since then. The list has been updated and we are re-posting it for those of you who might be new to Penny Pinching Parent?

So, sometimes one of the best way to snag a great bargain or a deep discount is to know where to look. There are so many deal sites out there and places to look that it can often get overwhelming? even for me and I blog about bargains.

Well, today I thought I would just take a quick moment today and share with you some ?Deal Of The Day? type sites that feature great deals on items for babies & toddlers and also share some great ?Deal Of The Day? sites that have items for the whole family, but also a few tips on how to get the most of these ?Deal Of The Day Sites.?

Tips For Shopping Deal Of The Day Sites:

  • Shop Early- A majority of the ?deal of the day? type sites are on a ?while supplies last? basis. It?s best to shop earlier in the day than later? usually first thing in the morning.
  • Shop Frequently- Since the deals are updated daily, if you are looking for a certain type of item you might want to check daily. If you are just looking for deals in general a couple of times a week is my suggestion. After all? is it really a deal if you spent hours & hours online at work looking for it?
  • ?Sign-Up- Most of the sites offer e-mail list subscriptions. Always a good idea to sign-up for their e-mail updates, so you?ll be the first to know upcoming news. Also, most of the sites require a membership? so you have to sign-up for a free membership before you can even get the deals.
  • ?Get Social- A lot of the sites are on social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook. Following these sites is just one more way to stay in the loop.
  • Be Friendly- Lots of the flash and daily deal sites offer some sort of referral program that allows to benefit from people you refer to their site. Different programs vary, some you earn when people sign-up, others when they place and order.

BabyEarth GaGa Deals: BabyEarth has an area in their ?Clearance? section that features ?GagGa Deals.? The GaGa deals last until time runs out or until the item is sold out?whichever comes first. A new item is posted every hour (Monday through Friday from 8am to 6pm) and the unique twist on these ?deals of the day? deals is that the price drops as the time counts down, the price drops every 5 minutes. So the longer you wait, the lower the price drops, but also the higher the risk that you won?t snag the deal. Just a FYI note about the price dropping? from what I can tell once their rock bottom price that they will sell the item for is reached, the item quits dropping in price.

?

BabySteals.com: This daily deal site features quality baby or maternity products every day at 50-80% off the item sells out. Since it?s a two deal a day site, my tip is to put it on your list of places to visit 1st thing in the morning. They feature their amazing steals (two a day) each day at 9am MST and another at 9pm MST until they?re gone?and they sell out fast. BeyondTheRack.com: Beyond The Rack is a membership based deals flash deals site. They have items for women, men, the home and they have a specific sections just for kids. There items are featured in an ?events? format and they will carry a large number of items in a particular category or by a designer. The items are available during the specified time frame for the event or while supplies last. Fab.com: Fab.com is a members only deal site and they have just recently launched their very own ?kids shop? on their site.? Kids Shop sales start on Wednesdays at 7pm (ET) and the shop features things for moms, little ones & even tweens. Items are available for one week or less? depends on how hot of a seller an item is. Savings are up to 70% and Fab.com?s shop features top known brands and even up and coming designers. Gilt.com: Gilt is another membership based deal site. The feature a larger variety of categories for items than other sites? they have items for men, women, kids and the home, but they even have for food lovers and deals for larger metropolitan cities. Their items are featured in an ?event? format and are grouped into sales based on theme or brand. The items are available for the designated length of the sale? unless they sell out. GreenBabyBargains.com: Is a daily bargain site that features items for your mom, dad & little ones and all the items featured have a ?green factor.? For instance, the items features can range from glass baby bottles to clothing made with organic cotton. They even have special features on the weekend or will sometimes re-feature an item. HauteLook.com: HauteLook is a membership based daily deal site that features items for men, women, the home & kids! They have a whole section of items geared towards wee ones.? The site features brand events which last for a specified time and items are available during that time period on a ?while supplies last? basis. They also give you a ?sneak peek? of upcoming events?which is a great way to plan to save and make sure you sign on early the day of an event you might want to participate in. Ideeli.com: Ideeli is a members only deal site. They feature a variety of items and brands for everyone in the family, but they do have a separate ?kids? section. They run their sales like most members only sites and have ?events? which feature a brand or group of coordinating items. These events run for a specified time frame or end sooner if the item(s) sell out. KidsSteals.com is a ?sister? site to BabySteals.com? there is actually whole family of sites and they call it the StealNetwork. It?s basically the same as BabySteals.com and features two ?steals? a day, starting at 9 am MST and another at 9PM MST. The only real difference between the two sites is exactly as the name states? these deals are geared towards kid versus babies! Kids.Woot.com: You have already seen a couple items mentioned here on Penny Pinching Parent from Kids.Woot.com. Kids.Woot is brought to you by Woot.com and the items I have seen so far range from baby gear items such as car seats to toys for all ages. Kids.Woot is one deal per day until it?s gone. Shipping is $5? at least all the items I have seen so far ship for $5.

Lands End On The Counter: Each Saturday LandsEnd.com puts a new group of items ?on the counter? and they are sold until they sell out. The items are reduced on Monday by 25%, on Wednesday by 50% and again on Friday (if they?re still around) 75%. These items range from men, women & kids apparel to luggage to items for the home. Items range from items for the home to clothing & gear for the whole family.

MamaBargains.com:Is a deal of the day site that features items for little ones at anywhere from 50-80% off. Even though they are a ?deal of the day? site, they actually offer more than one deal a day. Each deal is featured until it is no longer available and then on to a new deal? so it?s a site you can addicted to checking. You will find anywhere between 2-10 deals during the entire 24 hour period of time. They also have a coupons section.

The Mini Social: The Mini Social is a members only site that specializes in upscale baby and kids items. They even have an ?everyday essentials? section where they select a handful of their favorite must-have items and when you buy one of those? you get free shipping on your entire order. Shnoop.com: Another deal of the day site for items for just about anyone. The items are listed once a day and sold until supplies run out. What sets Shnoop apart is that unlike other deal of the day sites? you can still buy a featured item a day or two later if they still have some left, just click on ?Yesterday?s Shnoop.?. They have a wide range of items offered such as strollers for little ones to watches and electronics.

Shop Daily Deals at Target.com. Always Free Shipping.

Target Daily Deals: Target has a fairly new deal of the day section on their site. One of the great things about their ?deal of the day? is that it always ships free, which is not usually the case with most deal of the day sites. On the same ?deal of the day? page they also offer what they refer to as ?marquee? bargains and these items are also deeply discounted and from what I have seen thus far, ship free as well.

Toys.com: Is a site that brings you all sorts of great information from ToysRUs, Babies R Us, eToys & F-A-O and included in all the great things they share are daily deals. The deals featured range from all sorts of baby items, including health and safety items, baby gear, etc. to toys for kids of all ages. Zulily.com: Zulily is probably one of the most popular or well-known ?deal a day? type sites. They feature items for moms, babies and kiddos. They have a really large selection with new sales or events starting pretty much daily. Their sales also follow the ?events? format and run for a specified time frame. Items sell out quickly? especially on hot brands or deeply discounted items. They also do a great job of putting together events that feature all of one brand or similar types of items such as swimwear, children?s room decor or toys.

?

Due to the fact that ?deal of the day? or ?flash? sale sites are continually popping up here or there? we will make an effort to keep this list up to date for you.
